How does the Klünder machine work?
The device works with any type of tractor with a minimum power of 150 HP and a weight above 8 tons. The main unit connects to the tractor hydraulically, and the entire process is computer-controlled – ensuring it runs quickly, precisely, and safely. A single machine can cover and uncover up to 150,000 tons per season and up to 8,000 tons per day.
Fabric winding
A large roll of agricultural fabric is placed on a special, foldable rod.
Unrolling onto the pile
The fabric is automatically spread over the entire pile.
Pressing and securing
A disc near the ground presses the fabric at a height of about 20 cm, protecting it from wind, mud, and freezing.
